For me, football is just a game which 22 people passing and chassing the ball and trying to get to each other goal. What so fun about it when seeing 22 people chasing on one ball. My dad always tell me that ball is round, you never able to predict whether the ball can get into goal.  I always like "Ya..right".

When I was in college, I do watch football or they call it soccer, I think it is because my friends watch it so I just followed them. That time, I know some of the footballer name and my team was France, Arsenal and MU. When I graduate from college, I no longer fans of football or hate that game. It just that if you call me to watch football, I rather do something else with my time. Maybe it is because I prefer watching football with all my friends and now, I no longer have a team that I want to support.

On the other hand, my husband is a football fans. He loves football a lot. He can sometime wake up early in the morning like 2 am or 3am just to watch the football match. If he miss the match, he will check the news online. When we are in Penang, we always goes to my parent house on weekends because he want to watch a football match at night. He and my dad will be in front of TV at that time. When they switch to football channel, my mum and I will just go to bed or do something else. My husband and I discuss before, what will happen if both of us want to watch the TV at the same time. I told him that maybe me and my dad will switch place for a night or we get two Astro in our house. hahaha….

In Malaysia, if you want to chat with guys and you are out of topic, football or F1 is the best topic to start with. It is because most of people knows football even girl knows football. Even though, I am not a fans of football, I always get up-to-date by either my husband or my colleague.

Talk about beckham, I do not really know how good is beckham in playing football. I find him quite good in handling the ball across the field as a midfielder. I like beckham maybe because he is one of the good looking guy in football league and I am a fans of Victoria beckham. :-D

Today, G, W and we went to Woodburn outlets today. It is about 45minutes to one hours of travelling from hillsboro to the destination. We start our travelling about 10.30am. Our friends, W drove us there. We went to Woodburn outlets because there is Spring Sales in all the outlets. We reach our destination around 11.30am.

Our friends and we straight go to the outlets office first because with fill in some information, we are able to get a small booklet which contain some discount on the item in the shop. While my husband went to get the booklet, I went to the restroom first. While I was washing my hands, I saw an asian girl standing beside me. I just keep washing my hand and all the sudden this Asian Girl call my name. I was surprise and look back. I was so surprise that the person call me is my old friend, Y. She was my primary school friend and a best friends to me when we were in primary school. When we are in Secondary school, we was seperated because we went to different school. However, this does not stop our friendship, we still keep contact to phone calls and emails.

It was really a small world to meet her as I cannot believe we can meet each other in US. I stand there and I have so many question to ask her and I do not know where to start. We start to talk and question prompting out. Due to the time was so short, we just exchange phone number for further contacts later.

I really happy that we can meet each other after like nearly about one year, we did not meet each others. We already plan for some outing in Oregon before she go back.

We have been attending this hillsboro careground organized by ah wai and his wife. We start from like 6 months ago (wow, didn't notice such a long time already), from 4 person to 6 person (sometime got visitor), from paper worship songlist to TV display, from 2 person effort of worship and teaching to 4 person effort, from ordering food to housewife home cook yummy food and many others more. We share, chat, laugh, learning GOD words, worship together, sing, and service can run from 7pm to 12 midnight or something over to almost 1am. I guess all of us have some wonderful and memorable time sharing GOD words together. This all happened on every Weds from Sept 2006 till March 2007 and finally, at 21 March 2007, due to some unforseen circumstance, we called it the last one. Everyone have a change to share their thought on this care group and we all will surely miss it. I think this is one of my most memorable time when i'm in United State. I surely miss you all.

The below just to express my feeling how this care group have touch me:

The wednesday care group have been like a weekly routine for me and tc in attending it. Every week, I always looking forward to it, the feeling is like when you are small, you can't wait to go to kindergarden to meet friends and learn.  Looking sister and brother bond together, everyone sharing their experience, sharing their needs, their sadness and how to overcome it, learning how to pray, learning to guide the care group, learning about GODs word, learning to worship and make our heart right to GOD, try out different food, having fun, looking at chloe growing day by day and etc. I cannot continue because to many good things.  Oh ya, Two important thing that I am also happy is TC is learning up how to worship because he start to have a heart to do something to GOD. But I am quite sad that this is just going to end soon.

Well, I am happy that we are going to have a gathering together on Friday but I have a feeling that this is no longer the same as we have a care group where GOD is there to be with us in our gathering.

First of all, I would like to Thank GOD for sending two angels to me. Thank you for making this wednesday care group a success. Thank for always being there for us even though both are you are so busy with your other church work. Thank you for pushing me when I nearly lost my way to GOD. Thank you for being there for me and TC when we encounter problem in life. Thank you for giving us this care group which have been the most wonderful time in US and the most rememberance time in US. Thank you for being the good listener, the good leader(sherpard), I ever have in my life.

My thank you  will never end for both of you guys as your sacrifices are so great for both of us. I am happy that when I came to US, GOD make this opportuinity for me to know you and giving such a precious gift which is knowing Pei San who is always there when I was happy and sad.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you that your new care group on Tuesday will be a sucessful event. I wish that with GOD guidance that your groups will exponentially(from two to four to eight) as GOD is a GOD that make miracles. Don't give up in believing GOD as he have shown you the miracle which is "HE makes wednesday care group a success one". Kambateh… TC and I will be there supporting you. Don't worry about us, we will still continue to grow in trusting GOD. I can feel that HE is planning something for us.

I wish that everyone never give up in believing and trusting GOD as GOD have never give up on you. Whenever in trouble,trust in GODs and he will guide you through.

Yesterday, we went to H house for a last care group session. We have some dessert after the care group. On that day, I brought half of the cake that I made the day before. I used the "betty crocker" yellow cake flavor and in my cake, I add some crush walnut and chocolate chip to make it different taste. The cake taste great. So we have the cake at the island and while eating we chats.

The most cutest part is seeing baby Chloe trying to find the person who can give her a taste of the cake. She came to approach me as she knows I alway feed her some of my portion of my food. Before I feed her, I ask her mother permission for approval. She eats the cake very fast. I gave her a small bites of the cakes. Before I can eat some myself, she already finish eating it. I am so impress…. She will then stand beside me and munching her food away. 

I past my cake to Alex because his cake was in the same plate as mine. Alex holding the plate while still talking to our friends. Baby chloe saw Alex is the one holding the plate so she try to call Alex to feed her. She yell very loud but Alex just ignore because he was busy talking with others. When she knows, she cannot get Alex attention, she claps her hands and stomping her feet like telling Alex, "Hey, down here need food. Yohooo… do you see me? I am here" . Alex again liked pretend did not hear her, this time, she start to beat Alex on the leg and shouting. "Hey, down here. I want cake!!!!!".

I find her so cute and I find her smart too because no matter how, she will find ways to get it. Looking at her keep on shouting at Alex for food makes me feel so pity at her. I then acknowledge Alex to give her a piece of the cake. When Alex put the cake in her mouth, she felt so happy munching the food away again.

I do not know how to describe it but she really do make you laugh  when you see her technique to get people attention.

Finally, Spring is here… yes!! after few months of cloudy and cold days, finally winter is over and spring is here. Lots of blossom flower and yes, it is Sakura and what i called as "New year flower" or hokkien "sin chia hua". All the while, i can only see this flower in malaysia as a plastic flower and never see a real one. But when i see it here, it is so beautiful and the whole tree is really full of nothing but flower. imagine whole tree is white in color. Some are all purple in color and some are yellow in color. So beautiful. hmm.. I heard that Portland downtown has a very beautiful park which full of nice beautiful tree. I guess i should go there and take more photo. Here i will attached a few of the beautiful tree that i already took around my housing area. Enjoy!

Recently there is this shop name panera bread opens up just right across Cornell road and across the apartment we stay. Every now and then when we pass by the shop on our way to winco and kohls, we always see a lot of poeple there. Hmmm.. it always wonder me on why there are so many people go there just to buy roti? is the roti so good? finally i went there on 18 March 2007 since my gigi still pain and cannot eat some solid food, and a few of the shop that we planned to go is closed. So we end up give it a try. To our surprise, the shop not only sell roti, but others thing also. I order a soup in a roti and my husband order panini sandwish since i told him that it is very nice as i used to eat it at starbuck coffee shop in malaysia. We need to line up and waiting to order the food. After that, we find a place at the corner of the shop and waiting for our food. As usual, it is still crowded with people. I think the design of the shop is very nice and it is very clean as well. After some waiting time, the food finally is here. hmm.. the food is not bad but not as great as i thougt. Anyway, it is a nice restaurant to go and you can surf for free there.. remember to bring your labtop.

David Beckham – a soccer icons in the world had annouched that he will be coming to US to play for the LA Galaxy team in Major leauge soccer starting August this year and he signed a five years deal. I was a bit shocked when i read on the news. Soccer has always not a very popular sport in US except that i always know that soccer kind of girl sport in US. With David Beckham coming to US, will he able to stir up the interest of the local people and make soccer a famous sport in US compare to American football, baseball and basketball? Anyway, this is kind of big news as well in US as the report can be read from CNN, FOXnews and a lot more channel. I even see the advertisment on the TV on David Bechham is coming to US. I'm not sure about others people when they read on this news about Beckham but for me, i'm more intetested to read about victoria beckham news. hehe. i think she is a very sexy and beautiful girl. She is always the posh spice girl in my mind. Anyway, let's wait and see how all this going on.

At the month of February, suddenly I received these two pots of flower, one is tulip which gave by my friend here as my birthday present and one is given by TC at Valentine day. I say to myself, OMG, I’m not the kind of person like my mum that like to spend some time to take care of flower but I like to see only. I know I will be always forgetting to water the plant. So the poor flower sometime will have lots of water courtesy of TC and me and watering at the same time, and some time, both of us also forgot and it got no water at all. :-d  Anyway the flower finally blossom and it is really beautiful. Thank P & H for the tulip and TC for the Lily. I like it very much. Now, I realize more that taking care of flower really not an easy job and definitely not my style. Look at some of the picture that my hubby took with his small little digital camera.

Ever think of how many speaker one person can put on at TV? Normally people will have like 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 home theater system which is equivalent to 7 (6 or 5) surround speaker + 1 sub woofer.  My hubby today setup a 7.2 system. As from the name, 7.2 mean we have 7 speaker and 2 sub woofer. Hehe. He combined a 5.1 onkyo home theater system and his ATP4 Altec Lansing. It come out to be not bad but quite loud. We afraid the neighbourhood will complaint and hence he just tested it for a while. What a setup.. haha. Look at the picture for the setup.

If you read my thread on the First encounter on the sinus infection and A trip to Cornell Dental (Detected Sinus Infection???), you find that how the sinus infection started. When I reach home, I started to more pain on my gum and teeth. When I was at home, I took some allergies pill hopefully can cure my sinus problem. I check on my face and found out that my right hand site of my mouth cannot close fully because it is still numb after two injection. The doctor said that I need to wait for couple hours for the medicine to subside. 

After taking the pills, I felt so sleepy. It might due to I was so tired due to cannot sleep during night. When I was sleeping position, I felt better than when in a awakening position . I slept for two hours and I awake again because the pain is start to get worse maybe because the medicine start to subside. At the same time, I was so hungry (did not eat any stuff from yesterday night till next day noon) so I came out to cook myself some pasta. Actually, the night before, I cook nasi lemak, prawn curry and ikan bilis asam curry. Again, I cannot ate those stuff. Again, my husband have those stuff for lunch.

I try to eat the stuff that I cook, and guess what… I can't eat at all. My mouth was so pain that I cannot even bit even though I try to use the left teeth and gum to bit it.   Pity me. I try to open my laptop and do something. It seem the pain was so great that I cannot concentrate at all. The more I concentrate, the more the pain is calling me to concetrate on them. I went to sleep flat again because that is the only position that I find a comfort position. When you encounter sinus infection, the pain is not only attack you gum and teeth. It also attack your ear, cheek, nostrill, and below cheek bone. You feel like as if your face is like bloated out. The pain does not come on and off, it keep on attack you without non stop. My gum felt as if it is sore and I felt my teeth like want to fell down from my gum.  There is some murkus come out from my nose but I hardly can blow it because my nostrill is quite pain when I try to blow your nose. When I blow my nose, my ear will felt pain to. I felt  like burning up as if I have a fever and at the same, I felt so tired even though you slept a lot.

Because I cannot eat much, I though maybe eat some yogurt to help to prevent from hungry. Unfortunately, after ate the yogurt, I got gastrictis. Now, I got mouth pain, face pain and stomach pain. pity me…..

Luckily, my gastric was not so bad, I took a pepasid and it slowly cure my gastric.

My husband call me not to take any pain killer to stop the pain. Let my anti body cure it. Well, I try to listen to his opinion and I really suffer on that. It does not only effect me on that day, the pain continous to occur on the next day.  I cannot eat much during lunch and dinner. At night, my pain start to get worse and until I gave up where I told him, I got to have pain killer. The pain is killing me. At the end, we went to walgreen to get some acetaminophen.

When I took it, it does not help at all, I still felt the pain and my face start to change, and felt so bad. Then about 2hours later, I find my self start to feel a little bit better. I slept well that night after taking the pills.

In the morning, I inhale the steam and eat the medicine again. I can feel that I getting better…

How do I end up getting this sinus infection?

Well, it slightly related to my previous sickness also. Previously, I got running nose and sore throat and this sickness takes me like a week to recover from sore throat. My running nose have not fully recover since I infected by it.  At the same time, my nose is quite sensitive to a place which is stuffy or things which have a lot of dirt. I will keep on sneezing like there is no tomorrow when I was expose to that enviroment. Based on my friend, when spring time, the flower will spread some powder on the air. So my guess is I was expose to that with my sensitive nose and at the same time, I was not fully recover from my running nose.
